These Terms & Conditions govern your use of shelvingracking.co.uk and any order you place with us. The website and store are operated by Express Matting Services Ltd, trading as Shelving Racking Co. By placing an order you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Who we are
Shelving Racking Co is a trading name of Express Matting Services Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company no. 07000887, VAT no. GB987256073), based at Unit 1B Summit Works, Manchester Road, Burnley, Lancashire, BB11 5HG.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or over and able to enter into a legally binding contract to place an order. We currently sell and deliver to UK addresses only.
Orders and contract formation
When you place an order you will receive an acknowledgement email confirming we have received it. A binding contract is formed when we send you an email confirming that your order has been dispatched. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order — for example if an item is out of stock, if there is a pricing or description error, or if we are unable to obtain payment authorisation — and will refund any payment taken in full.
Pricing, VAT and currency
All prices are shown in Pounds Sterling (GBP, £) and include UK VAT at the prevailing rate (currently 20%). Delivery is charged at a flat £9.99 per order and is shown at checkout before payment. Prices and offers may change, but the price you pay is the price shown at the time you place your order. If we discover a genuine pricing error before dispatch, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
Payment
Payment is taken through our secure checkout at the time you place your order. Accepted payment methods are set out in our Payment Policy.
Availability
Product availability is shown on each product page and can change. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you to offer an alternative, a delay or a full refund.
Delivery, returns and cancellation
Delivery is covered by our Shipping Policy, your cancellation rights by our Order Cancellation Policy, and returns and refunds by our Return & Refund Policy. Those policies form part of these terms.
Products, load ratings and use
Product descriptions, dimensions and manufacturer load ratings are provided to help you choose. Load capacities shown are the manufacturer's stated ratings and must not be exceeded. Products must be assembled and used in accordance with the instructions supplied. Where a manufacturer's warranty applies, its terms are stated on the product page. In addition, all goods are covered by your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including that goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.
Our liability
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, for losses arising from failure to follow assembly or load-rating instructions, or, for business customers, for loss of profit or business. This does not affect the statutory rights of consumers.
Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, images and logos, is owned by or licensed to us and may not be copied or used without our permission.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales; if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you place it.
